Tide times for the coast of Vietnam

1. Open the app

Go to tides.seamark.com.vn/app on your phone or computer. The app opens in Vietnamese; tap EN at the top right to switch to English.

Add it to your home screen for quick access:

3. Choose a station

  1. Tap the station name box.
  2. Pick a station from the list, or type a station name to search.

You can also tap a station symbol on the map. Your earlier searches are kept under Recent searches.

4. Read the water level

Water level at the current station.

  • Large number: water level now (metres).
  • Arrow: tide rising or falling.
  • Hourly boxes: water level for the coming hours.
  • High water, low water: times and heights of the next tides.

5. Use the chart

Choose Hourly (one bar per hour) or Graph (a curve).

6. Look at another date or time

  1. Pick a date and time in the Time row, or tap Lunar… to choose a lunar-calendar date.
  2. Tap Now to return to the present.

7. Check any point on the map

Tap on the water to see the tide there.

  1. Tap on the water on the map.
  2. Read the water level, high water and low water at that point.
  3. Tap Chart for … to see the full detail.

Nationwide tide overview

Overview: dark blue is high water, sandy orange is low water.

  1. Tap the Overview button in the toolbar.
  2. Drag the time slider, or tap ▶, to watch the tide change along the coast through the day.
  3. Tap a station for details. Tap × to go back.

Quick tide times for each station as a simple web page (no map): tides.seamark.com.vn/thuy-trieu (in Vietnamese).
